Title: Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban
Author: JK Rowling
Genre/s: Fantasy, Fiction, Classic
“I solemnly swear that I am up to no good.”
For twelve long years, the dread fortress of Azkaban held an infamous prisoner named Sirius Black. Convicted of killing thirteen people with a single curse, he was said to be the heir apparent to the Dark Lord, Voldemort.
Now he has escaped, leaving only two clues as to where he might be headed: Harry Potter’s defeat of You-Know-Who was Black’s downfall as well; and the Azkaban guards heard Black muttering in his sleep, “He’s at Hogwarts . . . he’s at Hogwarts.”
Harry Potter isn’t safe, not even within the walls of his magical school, surrounded by his friends. Because on top of it all, there may well be a traitor in their midst.
I’m finally done with the third book! I love how JK Rowling wrote about the twist of the story. How Sirius Black is really the good guy not the bad guy. I’m so happy that Harry finally met his father’s best friends – Sirius Black (Harry’s godfather yay), Professor Lupin and Peter (who was the bad guy, who betrayed lily and James Potter). Their friendship was amazing, there was a part in the book where James, Sirius and Peter studied how to become an animagus for them to transfer into an animal so that when Lupin is a werewolf, they can join him and that they are the one who made the Marauder’s map.
Again, Hagrid has a new pet, Buckbeak, who was supposed to be executed, but then saved by Harry and Hermione together with Sirius Black with the help of Hermione’s Time turner that she got from Professor McGonagall. I would love to have my very own Time Turner, it would be amazing to do the things you want to do all at once, right?
Anyway, goodbye to Scabbers who was an animagus of Peter, but luckily for Ron he received a new Owl from Sirius. I wonder how would the world look like if we have our own owls, and there’s no post offices since they will become like an owl post, maybe it would be better and there would be no fees at all! Unlike now. Oops. Hahaha.
To end this, all I can say is that Kudos to Queen JK Rowling! Never failed to amaze me with her works! I’m so excited for a new adventure with Harry, Ron and Hermione in the next book.
